We consulted Sephora and their professional makeup artsits to find out how to get that perfect “no-makeup makeup look”
STEP 1: Hydrate Skin
PREP YOUR SKIN BY SMOOTHING MOISTURIZER ALL OVER, TAPPING EYE CREAM ONTO THE EYE AREA, AND CONDITIONING THE LIPS. FOR THIS STEP WE USED FRESH ROSE HYDRATING EYE GEL CREAM, BELIEF AQUA BOMB MOISTURIZER, AND BITE AGAVE LIP MASK.
STEP 2: BB CREAM
APPLY BB CREAM OR TINTED MOISTURIZER ALL OVER USING A PRESSING, SWEEPING MOTION. FOR THIS STEP WE USED CAUDALIE VINOPERFECT TINTED MOISTURIZER IN #02.
STEP 3: Concel & De-puff
TAP CONCEALER ONTO YOUR LIDS AND UNDER-EYE AREA. THE APPLICATOR FOR MARC JACOBS CONCEALER PEN #3 IS GREAT BECAUSE IT IS A COLD METAL. THE COLD ON YOUR SKIN WILL INSTANTLY DE-PUFF THE EYE.
STEP 4: Set with Powder
SET PRODUCTS WITH A FINISHING POWDER. WE USED TARTE SMOOTH OPERATOR FINISHING POWDER AND APPLIED WITH SEPHORA BRUSH #59 PRECISION POWDER.
STEP 5: Warm Cheeks
WARM YOUR CHEEKS WITH A CHEEK STAIN AND BOUNCE ONTO THE APPLES OF THE CHEEKS. FOR THIS STEP WE USED MAKEUP FOREVER BLUSH CREME IN #225
STEP 6: Shine Your Lips
APPLY A SOFT LIP STAIN OR SHEER LIPSTICK. WE LOVE DIOR ADDICT MILKY TINT IN #356 BECAUSE IT’S SUPER SHINY AND NOT STICKY.
STEP 7: Brighten Eyes
DUST A LIGHT, SATIN EYESHADOW ONTO YOUR LIDS, THEN LAYER A MATTE, MEDIUM-TONE SHADE INTO THE CREASE FIRST USING SEPHORA COLLECTION PERFECTING & SMOOTHING EYE PRIMER ALL OVER THE LID FROM LASH TO BROW. THEN APPLY TWO MAKEUP FOREVER EYE SHADOWS TO CREATE NATURAL AND SUBTLE DIMENSION.
LINE YOUR EYES WITH A THIN APPLICATION OF EYELINER. APPLY TWO COATS OF MASCARA. WE USED LANCOME LIQUI-PENCIL IN PLUIE (DEEP GREY). THIS EYELINER WILL NOT MOVE! FOR THE MASCARA, WE USED TOO FACED BETTER THAN SEX MASCARA IN WATERPROOF, SEPHORA’S MOST SOUGHT OUT MASCARA.
STEP 8: Perfect Brows
FILL IN BROWS WITH A TINTED BROW GEL OR BROW SHADER. WE USED URBAN DECAY BROW TAMER IN WARM BROWN. THIS GEL WILL NOT ONLY ACCENTUATE THE BROWS YOU ALREADY HAVE, BUT ALSO TAMES UNRULY BROWS FOR ALL DAY WEAR!
STEP 9: Set All Products
SET ALL YOUR PRODUCTS WITH A FACE MIST. WE USED SUPERGOOP SETTING MIST WITH ROSEMARY AND SPF 50. THIS PRODUCT IS A MATTIFYING SETTING SPRAY THAT CAN BE REAPPLIED THROUGHOUT THE DAY TO BOTH CONTROL SHINE, AND REAPPLY YOUR SPF. (SUN PROTECTION IS SO IMPORTANT AND THIS IS A QUICK EASY OPTION FOR SPF PROTECTION THROUGHOUT YOUR DAY. WE ALSO LOVE TATCHA DEWEY SKIN MIST FOR DRY AND COMBINATION SKIN.
STEP 10: Excude Confidence
Jump start your morning wakeup and envigorate your sesnses upon application by storing your setting mist in the refrigerator!
