In November 2018, the USASF Board announced its intention to take an even more aggressive and proactive approach to protect its athlete members from potential abuse and exploitation. Athlete protection is not a concern unique to All Star; it is a societal concern. We live in a “new normal” that requires a heightened sense of vigilance regarding our youth.
In 2019, the USASF launches “Athletes 1st,” an awareness campaign that equips owners and coaches with tools to supply to their athletes; all with the purpose of empowering athletes to protect themselves anywhere they are.
