THE AUDITION PROCESS

This Audition Opportunity is to be a part of a scripted TV pilot about All-Star Cheerleading!
This is a nationwide search for REAL cheerleaders, coaches and parents.

The audition process begins online – utilizing social media for video auditions. Kick things off with a Slate Video.

1st August 2019: Submissions Begin

19th August 2019: Slate Video deadline

19th August 2019: Tumbling Skills Video submission deadline

19th August 2019: Stunt Skills Video submission deadline

19th August 2019: Callbacks begin for successful applicants

26th August 2019: Call back audition video deadline

5th September 2019: Deposit due for those who wish to attend the Cheer Hollywood Acting Intensive

24th-26th September 2019: LA! Cheer Hollywood Acting Intensive

26th- 29th September 2019: Trophies Pilot Shoot

Slate Video

Details — under 1 minute video, show us your personality!

Your video should be uploaded to your IG stories and then saved to HIGHLIGHTS on your page under the title TROPHIES.

THE LAST DAY FOR SUBMISSIONS TO BE CONSIDERED WILL BE AUGUST 19TH, 2019

Individuals will be contacted by August 19th, 2019 if we wish you to audition for a lead/supporting acting role based on your “Slate Video”.

A script excerpt will be emailed to you.
Film your video and upload to YouTube (must be a private video)

Tumbling Skills Video

Details — under 2 minutes in length.

Your video should be uploaded to your IG stories and then saved to HIGHLIGHTS on your page under the title TROPHIES.

• Upload your video to YouTube (as a private video if you wish)
• Submit link via email to trophies@thespiritapps.com no later than AUGUST 19TH, 2019
• Email subject line: TUMBLING SKILLS – (FIRST NAME LAST NAME)
• Attach a photo of yourself to the email
• Include your highest level standing and running tumbling (min. required standing tuck, running layout)
• Any stunting skills you wish to include

Stunt Skills Video

Details — under 2-minutes in length.

• Email subject line: STUNT GROUP SKILLS – (FIRST NAME LAST NAME)
• Attach a photo of yourself to the email
• Email should include the first name, last name, and position of ALL participants
• Please have each person say their name to camera (or, at least the person applying) before you perform the skills
• Minimum skills to be shown:
  • all flyer body positions
  • double up to single leg
  • inversion to single leg
  • double down
  • kick double basket
  • any other skills you wish to demonstrate
• Any tumbling skills you wish to include

Please note we prefer complete stunt groups that are able to practice skills sequences and travel to LA together for the shoot, but will see individual videos.
